Your Rights in the Workplace
Teachers are protected from certain harms under the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment of the Constitution. Teachers have the right to be free from discrimination based on race, sex, and national origin -- as well as freedom of expression, academics, privacy, and religion. No Teacher has to tolerate assault or discrimination as a condition of employment.

Our plan has reimbursed members for attorneys fees in connection with resolving their work-related claims. Legal claims are reviewed by our insurance company.

We will respond to you within 24 hours. If your situation is a legal claim covered by our plan, we will connect you with our legal counsel for a free phone consult at no charge to you. If you then decide to take legal action and file an insurance claim for reimbursal of attorney fees with us regarding the situation, we will guide you through that process.
